DR Acoustics Red Sky Reference Bi-wires cables are made with 4-gauge wires (AWG). These audiophile cables yield unbelievable dynamics. Furthermore, the resolution and deep bass enhance high-end audio systems. Using exclusive methods, quality materials and meticulous craftsmanship, Cassandra Copper cables allow you to improve sound stage for optimal audio system results.
The Red Sky Bi-Wire Reference core is made of two pairs of 4-gauge wires. The two wires are made of silver-infused, ultra-pure copper cables.
The conductors are covered by a high-quality nylon jacket, filled with micro-silica crystals, forming a cable 45 mm in diameter.
The 2.4-metre cable weighs 4 lbs 1.8 kg). These cables are designed to be both solid and flexible, and guarantee top performance to ensure the complete satisfaction of even the most demanding audiophiles.
TECHNOLOGY
The American Wire Gauge (AWG) is a standardized scale for wire conductors. Most audiophile power cables use 10-gauge conductors. For every two-unit AWG decrease, the cable doubles in size. DR Acoustics 4-gauge cables are eight times bigger than standard 10-gauge cables (42 mm2 vs 5 mm2). The extra large cable allows for a significant reduction in electron collisions. These collisions or frictions cause a temperature increase in cables. Oversized 4-gauge (AWG) cables create a sort of electron “highway” that enable greater performance without heat gain. Furthermore, the geometry and size of the conductors ensure non-measurable levels of inductance and capacitance. The cable is therefore neutral.
DR Acoustics cables have been developed to offer superior sound quality. They are the perfect complement to high performance audio systems. These cables enable you to achieve optimal performance of your audio system.
